St. Andrew's is an independent and non-denominational early childhood education centre composed of pre-school and daycare. It is a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors from among the parents of children enrolled in the school and daycare. Teaching is in the English language with a strong French as a second language program.
St. Andrew's has been serving the Montreal community since 1967, preparing and readying generations of children for entry into primary schools. Graduates and alumni of St. Andrew's have gone on to many of city's best private and public educational institutions.
Tradition within the school has been further continued through the long tenure of many of its outstanding staff, including the headmistress, who have continued with the school throughout most of its existence.
